Cut Throat Game - Saturday September 29th, 9:30am for a 10:00am start
Hello Club Members!
We have decided to introduce a new game called "Cut Throat". It has been played informally at the club a few times and has proven to be great fun and good practice for drawing to the jack.
Our first formal Cut Throat game has been scheduled for September 29th; 9:30 for 10:00 a.m. Please come and play!!!
The rules will be further explained before play begins. (See information below).  Looking forward to seeing you.
Debra and Mayumi

"Cut-throat" Competition:
This is a unique game of bowls.
It is played with 3 players on each green. Each player plays four bowls.
The score keeping is where the fun comes. The bowl closest to the jack at the end of play scores 4 points, second closest is valued at 3 points, the third bowl is worth 2 points and the fourth bowl is worth 1 point. So the possibilities are endless. You could get all 10 points available in the end.
This game is preferred by the most competitive of bowlers, hence the name !!!
